Princess Party Games: Wish Circle Game

Have all the girls stand in a circle. Each girl crosses her right arm over her left and holds hands with the girls next to her on either side. The birthday girl whispers a special wish to the girl to her right and it goes all around the circle until the wish reaches the last girl. The last girl then says the wish out loud. The birthday girl tells them if the wish is correct. You can do this for all girls in the circle.

Its cute to hear their special wishes. You might have to help them out by giving some examples.

ie: I hope my friend gets well soon, I hope we visit Grandma soon, I wish my family would win the powerball jackpot.

Princess Party Crafts: Princess Cone Hat Craft

This craft does require a little preparation time on your part but will be a big hit with all the children. Follow the instructions for constructing the basic hat. Leave the decorating design up to the little princesses. Be sure to shoot a picture when everyone is finished. We found this on the site: FIRST PALETTE.COM.

Princess Party Craft: Toilet Paper Roll Castle

This craft could be a great group craft project for your party or a fun family activity. This will also make a great party decoration. The following link will give you complete directions and even a cut out pattern to get you started. Have fun with this one. We found this on the site: DLTK'S CRAFTS FOR KIDS.

Princess Party Games: Princess Pink Bucket Toss

Small whiffle balls work best with this game. They are light enough not to knock the buckets over. Have all the children line up and take turns. You will need a yard stick or a jump rope for them to stand behind. Move it closer for smaller children and back for older ones. Keep track of their point total after each toss. Tell them to remember their own final score.

Princess Party Games: Kiss the Frog and turn him into a Prince

You will remember this as Pin the Tail on the Donkey. You can find graphics like this on the web and make your own pin up game board. We found that if you take it to Staples and get it laminated, it will hold up so much better. You will also need to make small cut out lips.( get laminated too) Then all you need is two-sided tape or blue tac on the back of the lips.

Form a line a few steps away from poster. You can have the children close their eyes or buy an inexpensive Pinata blindfold. All the children will cheat...if you simply ask them to close their eyes. They can't help it. Spin them around carefully 1-3 times and send them on their way. Make sure they hold their arm with lips facing out in front. Lips On the Frogs Mouth are the Goal. *Note if there will be boys you can do small spiders to keep the spell alive! The boys put the spider anywhere on the Frog to keep him a frog!

Princess Party Games: Princess Jewel Hunting

This activity can be played alone with the children simply digging to find the hidden treasure. In that case you might want to have more than one pail. Or you may use the treasure as a reward for playing a game such as the Princess Says. ( above) Whenever a child is out---instead of them being sad, you give them a reward for playing. Tell them to go dig for a prize. Problem that might occur is everyone wanting to be out too soon.....

Princess Party Craft: Make a Fairy Halo

The Make a Fairy Halo Craft is a simple fun craft for all ages 3-10. It does require some prep work on your party. You will need some stretchy cord. Measure around your child's head and leave enough extra to tie off at the end. Once you cut the cord to the right length you must make a big knot at one end. It works best if you use something to tie the knot around. ( Bead or macaroni) Next decide what the guests will use to string on their halos. We made bowls of chunky plastic beads, macaroni sprinkled with glitter, silk flower petals, foamie shapes with a hole punch in middle. Hand each child a cord and tell them to slip items down to the knot at the bottom until the cord is 3/4 full. Let them create their beautiful halos and have an adult tie the ends together. You can add ribbon trims at the back for them.

*hint. Always a good idea to make a few before hand in case one breaks or a child is late to the party.

Princess Party Crafts: Paper Crown

For the Paper Crown Craft, you can make a simple pattern and lay the crowns out flat on the table. The pattern can be on any paper that you choose. You can even buy paper crowns at your local party store and have the children decorate with stick on jewels, stickers and glitter. We always liked the "self adhesive" craft decorating items best. If you can stay away from glue--it will make your life so much easier. Tape the ends together when they are finished decorating.

Princess Party Games: Princess and Knight or Princess & Prince

You will need a tall plastic sword or large Inflatable Sword. Ask an adult to hold up the sword. Have the children stand in line and give them 3 Rings to toss. Make sure you have a yard stick or something else to stand behind to toss the rings. This game is a little more challenging. If there are young children let them simply place the rings around the sword. We include this game with our Princess and Knight Party Package.  Buy the Knight Set seperately on the Boys Dress Up Page.

Princess Party Games: Walk the Plank

This game is a super favorite must have for any Pirate Party. 2 Milk Crates and a wooden plank that you can tie in place through the openings in the milk crate work out well. These items are pretty easy to find. Children take turns walking across the plank---we usually get a big bag of feathers and let all the other children try to tickle the legs of the pirate trying to get across. This is a fun way to keep everyone involved. This is would be perfect for our Princess & Pirate Birthday Party Package.

Princess Party Games: Search for Cinderella's Glass Slipper

You will need mini 6" plastic glass slippers. Before the party starts hide the little slippers around the room. We always tell the story of Cinderella when she goes to the Ball. When the clock strikes midnight she must hurry away before the Magic runs out. She loses one of her Glass Slippers. Tell all the girls that they must search around the room to find a glass slipper of their own. Be sure to tell them to find only one.  This game comes with our Glamorous Event Party Package.

Princess Party Games: Who Knows the Birthday Girl Best?

This Princess Birthday Party game is great because it really makes the birthday girl feel special, yet all her guests feel included. Before the party starts make a list of 5-7 questions to ask the birthday girl. Some of our favorite questions are; What is the birthday girl's favorite food? Favorite T.V. show? Favorite Music Group?  Write the answer down on a piece of paper. Depending on the child's age--have her or you ask the questions.

Ask the children to raise their hands. Call on each child until someone guesses the right answer. Play until all the questions are done. FYI --this is a good party stater game. Have all the children sit facing the birthday girl and you. It is fun and will help everyone feel comfortable. Parents love to listen in too! ( we include this one in many of our theme packages)

Princess Party Games: Pass the Magic Wand

Children of all ages Love this game! This is the #1 Princess Birthday Party Game. Girls as well as Boys will play it and laugh. You will need Wands for all ( highly recommended) as well as a portable CD Player and Music Helper.

Have the children hold hands and form a circle. Tell them to drop hands. Explain to them that when the music starts they must pass the wand to the child next to them. When the music stops ---the child with the wand is out. You never want a child to be sad at a party, so make losing---winning. Tell them to go sit over with the Music Helper and have the Helper give them a wand to keep. Every one of our party packages includes magic wands.
